Gorgeous restaurant, the two floors are very different from each other: festive and fun upstairs, intimate and elegant downstairs. Love the old school bar on the first floor. The host and servers were absolutely amazing, professional and friendly, they did anything to make us super comfortable, they never rushed us, it was genuinely a pleasant dinner and evening. Very elaborate cocktail and wine selection, and the menu is really adventurous and interesting. I’ll be honest, we weren’t fans of the starters, the broth for the dumplings and the mussels were both a bit too salty and the butter for the breadsticks too hard and not really spreadable, but the entrees were phenomenal. The shaking beef and onions were cooked to perfection, the basmati rice was an excellent choice, but the real start was by far the Cornish hen; crunchy skin on the outside and juicy, flavorful meat on the inside, the mash was silky and smooth, and the butternut squash purée to die for. Overall, a solid, very good restaurant and a beautiful place for a romantic date or a fun night out with friends.

Our first time in Provincetown. On our first night, we came to this charming restaurant for dinner. We arrived just as they opened and got a table upstairs by the windows. The food was just amazing. The lobster bisque was perfect and the miso cod was exquisite. The shaking beef was so tender and juicy. And, the key lime pie was the key limiest. Yum!! Want to spoil yourself? Go here for dinner!

My partner and I came to Massachusetts for travel, fun and a romance! Come to find out, that some of our favorites dishes came from The Mews and they weren’t even seafood dishes! My partner had the Shaking Beef dish and I had the Chicken Vindaloo with naan bread! Cocktails were also on par with the Last Word and Old Fashioned! Not to mention a truly romantic atmosphere with an ocean and beach view! Our server was Lessie, such a pleasure!

It was our first time visiting The Mews, and what a delightful visit it was! Let’s start by saying that the dining room is stunning, warm and contemporary. Our server Niyazi was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, never rushed us and always made sure that we were happy! Our cocktails were just perfect, the oysters were fresh and clean (served with a champagne mignonette that brought tears to my eyes), the artichoke cakes were divine! I got the best halibut dish I had all week and my partner got the “Melted Cabbage” which was divine! To finish our meal we had the Key Lime pie and it did NOT disappoint! Thank you to The Mews for a spectacular dining experience, we will be back next time we are in Provincetown! P.S. Thank you for being so accommodating towards my partner’s request to propose to me, surely a night I will remember for the rest of my life!

On Commercial Street in the east end. On the water so great views of the harbor. Inside is very modern and clean. The food choices were all very good with a mix of seafood, meats, and meatless options. It was difficult to pick a dish. We also enjoyed the appetizers. Excellent drink and wine menu. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable about the restaurant and the area. Prices were good for the value.

I admit I was a little nervous to return to The Mews for the first time following their recent extensive renovations. The reviews I’d read had been mixed at best, and I feared the place might have lost the magic it had maintained for so many years. Well, based on our recent visit, I’m pleased to say my fears were unfounded. We spent a WONDERFUL Friday evening dining in the downstairs (beach level) room and everything was superb. The downstairs room has retained its quiet acoustics and casual elegance. The colors and finishes have been updated, but the space will still look familiar to those who remember its earlier appearance. We were the first to arrive so I snapped a photo of the room before other guests were seated. The service was excellent- still the same high level of professionalism and courtesy as before. And most importantly, the food and drinks were exquisite. We enjoyed a very generous serving of the cabbage chili crisp salad (so flavorful), the perfectly-cooked halibut with pistachio topping, and a savory filet mignon. Cocktails were on-point as well: a seductive Black Manhattan and a bright, refreshing spirit-free “fauxhito.” Based on this experience, I’m happy to say that The Mews is still at the top of my list of fine dining venues in Provincetown. Can’t wait to return.

We came here to The Mews last visit in 2015 and since we liked it then, we thought we'd try it again. This is considered to be one of the best restaurants in P-Town and we have no argument, although we haven't tried them all. I love sushi and the Tuna sashimi was excellent and a nice portion of fish. (Sesame crusted and seared, Korean marinated cucumbers, pickled onions, avocado, sesame soy dipping sauce) My wife ordered the Portuguese littlenecks which she said were the best she'd ever had. (and she has had a few! She couldn't stop telling me how plump and juicy they were!) For her entrée she ordered the Halibut (pan roasted with pistachio gremolata, sweet corn-nage (a kind of sauce used when poaching, usually fish), charred fennel & apple. This too she loved. I opted for Mews Vindaloo which was terrific and very filling. No dessert, but a nice bottle of Pinot Noir completed the meal. Pretty sure we'll be back 'next time.'

Delicious food, the shaking beef is a must. Service was great too even though we were here on Halloween we didn’t feel neglected or that the server was overwhelmed.. definitely will be back
